I’m so excited about this, I can barely overeat.

Tuesday, June 21st, 8:30 – 10:30 PM
L’Etage
624 South 6th St. Philadelphia, PA

Last December, I squeaked by with first honors in First Person Arts’ Holiday Spirit installment of Story Slams. The semi-enchanting tale of friendship, generosity and defecation also earned me a spot in this season’s Grand Slam.

If you’re interested in catching a rare glimpse of me in a church as I lose the title of Best Storyteller in Philadelphia to someone whom actually deserves it, order tickets.

Wednesday, May 25th, 6:00 – 10:30 PM
Christ Church Neighborhood House
20 North America St. Philadelphia, PA

That’s right kids, we’re back in action at Philly’s most fancy crepe-slinging venue L’etage! Starting on the Summer Solstice (June 21st!), we’ll fire up the microphones and the t-shirt cannon at this handsomely-appointed eatery to record our beloved podcast. We’ll do it once a month. Each show will have super special guests, some who tell jokes, some who sing songs and others that dance with the devil (I have no idea what that means). So please join us and enjoy us, delicious food, both cheap and expensive beer, and maybe the most comfortable seating (since Fred’s Beanbag Chair Lounge) that your ass has ever had the pleasure to plop itself in!

Oh, by the way, this is a very romantic spot, perfect for making out! So bring your lover or brush you teeth in case you meet a lover during the show. Maybe Ed Lover? Or an Easy Lover, Philip Bailey is the co-owner of this joint (lie!).

First guests will be announced next week!! We’re very excited to see you there.

Mini Podcast! Here’s us eating crepes at L’etage last week, scoping out the new joint, chatting about dumb candy and funny ladies and of course, discussing our new show!

Formation Skateboards
Computer Embellished Drawing

Formation Skateboard Company kicked off its new online store with a school of filleted friends.

Tempera on Butcher Paper • 8′x4′ • Private Collection

My 8th grade students recently created a crop of collaborative paintings based on Picasso’s Guernica. Out of the paintbrush of babes oft times comes gems.

Favorite collab-bro-lator, Bevan McShea, and I are geared up for a sugarplum-flavored installment of Jazz Tactics. Join us for a night full of live art, music and Christmas wedgies.

Saturday, December 18th, 7:30 – 10:00 PM
MilkBoy Main Stage
2 E. Lancaster Ave. Ardmore, PA

Don’t forget (continue to ignore), December 3rd is the First Friday opening reception for Sound & Vision at MilkBoy Coffee Acoustic. Dozens of original collages, block prints and fine art photographs will be available for less than $81. Pop in and pick one up for your secretary or letter carrier… Baby Jesus would have wanted it that way.

On Thursday, September 30th, Main Line Art Center is throwing an uproarious house party. The Fundraiser, complete with music, beer, art demos, a print exchange and shrinky dink jewelry benefits the Art Center’s arts education and community outreach programs. Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door.

I’ll be there exhibiting my painting, Community, (which was featured in the book Edgy Cute), drinking beer, watching demos, trading prints, shrinking dinks and dolling out high fives. It will be the best thing to happen to Thursday night since that lady fell down the elevator shaft on LA Law.

The formidable Formation Skateboard Company recently overhauled and overpopulated its online store with scores of toddmarrone.c0m-designed and custom painted skate decks. Limit 10 per customer, unless you want more.

Marker Drawing by Emily • 9″ x 12″ • Private Collection

A multitude of moons ago, I posted my contribution to the long-running international doodleography archive called The Scribble Project. Last school year, I encouraged my 7th and 8th grade art students to try their (drawing) hand at the same assignment. Seven contributors were selected by Lisa “The Curator” Currie and featured on the site this July.

Congratulations to Emma, Jesse, Emily, Mary, Nathan, Casey and Victoria for making waves in the World Wide Web!
