If I can make one person smile by making one smiling person… I lost my train of thought, what was I saying?
Last evening, I found myself at a pal’s relative’s bar with pals and relatives. I drew a picture of my lovely wife on a filthy napkin and my wife returned the favor. Longtime comrade, Scott, and sister-in-law, Kimmy, followed suit.
Earth is like pottery… it’s fragile, spins around and makes a great gift.
“If any of you are around when I meet my day, I don’t want a long funeral. And if you get somebody to deliver the eulogy, tell them not to talk too long. Tell them not to mention that I have a Nobel Peace Prize, that isn’t important. Tell them not to mention that I have three or four hundred other awards, that’s not important. Tell them not to mention where I went to school. I’d like somebody to mention that day, that Martin Luther King, Jr., tried to give his life serving others. I’d like for somebody to say that day, that Martin Luther King, Jr., tried to love somebody.”
This morning, I volunteered at my son’s preschool’s Fall Fair. I spent two hours transforming youngsters’ signatures into monsters. This was, perhaps, the best/worst/only thing to happen to monster making since this.
Blame the Devil it’s Monday.
