Here’s a marker concoction that I whipped up as a tribute to my favorite quartet.
An extemporaneous marker drawing from the ever elusive “Crimson Series.”
One in a series of extemporaneous marker drawings lovingly referred to as “The Blue Series.”
A series of oil pastel drawings created on black pastel paper. The, over two dozen, images in this collection share a raw, primitive flavor due to the process and medium.
I created this drawing during a graduate course (when I was supposed to be paying attention).
A series of pieces created using a resist technique. The contour lines were applied to black matte board using Elmer’s Glue. Once dry, color was added via chalk pastel.
A series of abstract male portraits drawn with oil pastel on pastel paper. They were made within a few days of one another and all seemed to have rather large noses. I’d later refer to this as my giant-shnozola period.
Proving once and for all that a spiffy sweater can make up for a lack of facial features.
I hatch, therefore I am.
