Burlap
Acrylic on Canvas • Burlap & Bean Coffee Shop

My 89-year-old grandmother was in attendance during this performance with The Hulihees. As a tribute, I painted her portrait using BOTH hands simultaneously. I suspect that my feet are starting to get jealous.

Acrylic on Paper • FOX Good Day Philadelphia

In the Summer of 2003, I appeared live on a local news program called “FOX Good Day Philadelphia.” At the start of the show I rolled out over 150 feet of blank paper in front of the studio building. Throughout the two and a half hour broadcast, I painted a sprawling composition that included likenesses of the newscasters, Philadelphia icons and viewer requests.
