Nothing says “happy birthday” like a customized card featuring your family depicted as a venn diagram.
Once again, the Wildcats welcomed me into their den to deliver a live art presentation titled, “Moment of Art.” The highly-anticipated annual engagement is punctuated by artistic collaborations with audience members, an improvisational mural and the distribution of dozens of free paintings. This month’s Socrates Café question: “Are we facing a change in values?” Special thanks to my lovely wife, Heather, for stepping up and stepping in as moderator while I was sick in bed. Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band at the First Unitarian ChurchPosted by: Todd Marrone in Available, Dry Media, Podcast
The slightly quirky, very energetic, Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band opened for Bishop Allen last Thursday night at the First Unitarian Church. I doodled this Sketchy Review as I soaked in the former performance. Look for our interview with Bishop Allen’s Justin Rice in an upcoming UsedWigs Radio Podcast. There’s a fresh episode of UsedWigs Radio cooling on the windowsill. Help yourself to a healthy serving of Gene Ween, Pirate Bay, cannibalism, late night TV wars, SXSW, Al Pacino and Sci-Fi Philly.
I recently plastered a painting for the plucking in the parking garage of my local IKEA. Hex key not included. |
