The final leg of the Emergenza competition brought me and the band to Philadelphia’s famed Theatre of the Living Arts. After the performance, we were, again, mauled by groupies.
I enjoy working with youngsters, we have a similar attention span.
Every once in a while, when you are about to (or in the midst of) doing something, ask yourself why you are about to (or in the midst of) doing it. If the answer contains “always have”, “everybody else” or “celebrity”, stop doing that thing.
The Levelheads and I figuratively set the stage ablaze during our first appearance at Philadelphia’s North Star Bar! The set marked our participation in the second round of a city-wide band competition, Emergenza. We were awarded top honors of the evening and secured a spot in the finals.
