Special thanks to the rip-roarers who made UsedWigs Radio’s first live event a rip-roaring good time. The response and reaction was really resounding. UsedWigs LIVE is gaining steam and building momentum. Climb aboard and stay abreast via UsedWigs.com or Facebook. On the evening of Friday, June 12th (8-10pm), UsedWigs Radio will take our award-deserving podcast to the stage. Ardmore’s MilkBoy Coffee plays digital and physical host as we simultaneously broadcast, record and perform our first LIVE show. In addition to our typical podfoolery, the bill includes live music by Philadelphia’s The Grundles, literary musings via “Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook” co-author, Josh Piven, stand-up by Don Weir, a science demonstration by PuttyWorld’s Crazy Aaron, audience participation, prizes, FREE original art and more. Tickets are a measly seven bucks, BYOB.
The latest podisode of Usedwigs Radio features a pair of ear-smacking exposés. Listen in, as I pester Beirut’s Zach Condon and the Presidents of the United States of America. Enjoy Usedwigs Radio’s unofficial tribute to yucks as we talk comedy, chat with Philadelphia comedian, Dave Walk, and interview stand-up darling, Greg Fitzsimmons.

Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band at the First Unitarian ChurchPosted by: Todd Marrone in Available, Dry Media, Podcast
The slightly quirky, very energetic, Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band opened for Bishop Allen last Thursday night at the First Unitarian Church. I doodled this Sketchy Review as I soaked in the former performance. Look for our interview with Bishop Allen’s Justin Rice in an upcoming UsedWigs Radio Podcast.
Enjoy the latest episode of UsedWigs Radio, fueled by my first attempt at home brewing. Listen in as UsedWigs Radio chats with Philadelphia beer expert, John Ceccatti. It’s guaranteed to give your ears a buzz. |
