“What is the connection between man/woman and nature?”

Another rousing session, sincere thanks to all of the participants. Please feel free to cyber-philosophise.

  1. Lorenzo says:

    Birth.

  2. Arlene says:

That would be sex and birth.

  3. Jamie says:

I think there is more than just sex/birth. There is also responsibility? Are we in charge of nature or is nature in charge of us? There is that “Iron law of wages” – people will propagate and do the things that they do until they reach the point that nature can no longer support them and so then nature does its best to kill people off until it reaches a state in which people can be supported again. It is creepy because I feel like you can see that starting to happen. But then science steps in and says ok, we don’t have enough land to grow food on, so we will MAKE food. We can’t just take take take without giving too, right?

  4. Arlene says:

No, we shouldn’t just take, take, take, as people often do when it comes to nature. People tend to exploit and over use nature until nature is forced to readjust as a result of peoples’ actions. We are capable of taking without giving…..but we should learn to take and then give back…..to people and nature alike. The good news is, some of us realilze this and try to live our lives accordingly.
