Primer Gallery… 30 ounces of black paint, 24 ounces of beer, 3 foam brushes and 270 square feet of paper later. This evening, I’ll be tackling this wall-sized piece of paper during a First Friday performance at Hatboro’s Primer Gallery. Only one of us will make it out alive. Celebrate First Friday with me… Hatboro-style, as I create a mural-sized line painting before your very eyes. Music, munchies and spirits will be on hand to attack (or dull) the remaining senses. Still not convinced? I’ll toss, hand, raffle, grant, distribute and give free paintings away all night long. Friday, November 6th, 6:00 – 11:00ish PM (Performance 7:00 – 9:00ish PM) Guests participating in Friday’s UsedWigs LIVE event left with this dazzling, parting gift. Click and go for a blow by blow.
Special thanks to the rip-roarers who made UsedWigs Radio’s first live event a rip-roaring good time. The response and reaction was really resounding. Join us this evening for the ressurection of Jazz Tactics. Tonight, my visual riffing will be an unrehearsed reaction to a DJ-reinterpretation of ‘Stardust’.
Enjoy a septet of snapshots from First Friday’s music and art reception, Passing the Torch. DJ Lightborn and the Levelheads supplied a healthy dose of auditory entertainment while Emmett and I tickled the eyeballs.
Friday evening found me, again, flinging paint on the MilkBoy Main Stage alongside of prodigious ear-pleasers, The Hulihees.
Former college roommate, current creative collaborator and future bank-heist partner, Bevan “Starhaven” McShea, invited me to join him on stage during a recent acoustic performance.
The black lines were painted live during a performance last Fall, the color was added recently, and less spectacularly, in my basement. |
