Me, My Pop, My Son & Me
The Mrs. and I recently staged, shot and assembled this little photo diptych as a Father’s Day gift for my dad. As you may have guessed, I’m playing the part of infant in the upper photo and proud papa in the lower photo. Perhaps someday Rocco will have a son, couch and camera of his own to keep up the tradition.

This is such a heartwarming photo. I wish I could duplicate it with my family photo’s. Many of them were lost and damaged in a basement flood at my mom’s house so I don’t have any baby pics of myself (Bwaaa).

I find giving gifts to my parents to be one of the most difficult and rewarding things about being someone’s kid. I want them to be pleased with their gifts, but I also want to singlehandedly impress them with the clever and creative adult that I have become. Having said that — you are a gift giver to admire.
(And I have to add that you are a very believable infant. Have you consiered acting?)

Todd, Is your family into cloning? We eye-ties have some serious strong genes! You look a whole lot like your dad and Rocco looks exactly like you as a baby! My son looks a lot like me too. We know my husband was involved ’cause he got his coloring, that’s about it.
Very nice idea, I’m sure your dad loved it. See you soon, Louise

Todd, This is just awesome. What a truly wonderful fathers day present. Treasure your family while you have them. I miss my father so much. Great idea. HUGS

Love the pics. what an awesome idea! This happened by accident at my wedding – the photographer snapped a pick of my mom fixing my veil and when my mom went home she found almost the exact same pic from her wedding. Thanks for sharing.

Life can’t get better than this! There’s nothing better than snuggling in your dad’s arms except holding your dear baby. Enjoy!
