Goblin Count
Acrylic on Paper • 12″x18″ • Private Collection

This is one in a series of collaborative paintings completed by me and my former college roommate, Bevan McShea. Bevan painted the left side leaving me to complete the right. Once again, in our over ten year friendship, I’m “right”.

I checked out Bevan’s web page and really enjoyed his work. It is interesting how similar your styles are and yet light years apart. Putting them both in the same piece of artwork is very interesting for comparison. And it is a fun painting.

that is just fantastic! you both have different styles, yet they really work together. it’s like peanut butter and jelly. no, better yet, it’s like nutella and peanut butter! unless, of course, someone’s allergic to peanut butter here, in which case i think that would make it Fred and Ginger except that they are both a little annoying, but then again if you do that then you have to change from food to people… and some how i’ve gotten myself completely off-topic.
regardless, a hypnotically dynamic peice of art!
