“Is democracy incompatible with human nature?”

here is the poem titled “is democracy incompatible with human nature?” or just “democracy”
It was within the circles of Athens
That they remembered Atlantis
Where Plato’s hand planted
The expanse of the planet
And upon a canvas of paper
Realizing man’s handicap
The Thinker and Vermin
The Coil of the Serpent
I have lost by one vote
That overrode a thousand
That One Voice was my own
And I declared upon the mountain
Under the fountains of blood
Of it’s sons who were slain
Before the illusion
Was given a name
